Glow Line for cosmetic tattoo and brow studios

Feather brows, powder brows and lip blush take two to three hours of fine work with the client lying still. Callers want the price, the touch-up rule and whether they are a good candidate. Glow Line answers the first two from your list and notes, passes the third to you, and texts you the request when the session is done.

Incoming call, Tuesday 1:30 pm

  1. I had my brows microbladed somewhere else years ago and they have faded. What would powder brows cost?
  2. Thanks for calling Quillstone Brows. Powder brows are $680 for a first session. Work by another artist starts with a correction consultation, which is $50.
  3. Okay. Can I have it done while I am breastfeeding?
  4. I am not sure, so the artist will answer that herself. Can I take your name, mobile and a time that suits for the consultation?

What gets in the way for cosmetic tattoo studios

Long, precise appointments

A first brow session can run close to three hours, with mapping, numbing and the work itself. Stopping to answer a phone is not possible, so calls stack up until the client has left.

Every price has a follow-up

A first session, a perfecting touch-up some weeks later, a colour boost a year or more on. List each as its own service, and the assistant gives the figure for the stage the caller is at.

Suitability is the artist's call

Callers ask about pregnancy, breastfeeding, skin conditions, medication and old work done elsewhere. The assistant answers none of it. It says the team will confirm, and the question reaches you in the text.

Consultations and patch tests first

Many studios want a consultation or patch test before a first session. List it as a service, even at $0, and write how far ahead of the session it must be. Callers can then request it like anything else.

A worked example

Cosmetic tattoo studio work, with Glow Line

Quillstone Brows is a one-artist studio in a regional city, open Tuesday to Saturday. The list on Glow Line has eight services: a consultation and patch test at $0 for 20 minutes, feather brows at $650 for 150 minutes, powder brows at $680 for 150 minutes, a perfecting touch-up at $150 for 90 minutes, a colour boost at $350 for 120 minutes, lip blush at $700 for 180 minutes, lash line enhancement at $450 for 120 minutes, and a correction consultation for work done by another artist at $50 for 30 minutes. Notes say a $100 deposit holds a first session and comes off the price, the patch test must be at least 48 hours before, the touch-up price applies within ten weeks of the first session, and any question about health, medication or pregnancy is answered by the artist, who will call back.

On a Tuesday at 1:30 pm, two hours into a lip blush, a caller says she had her brows microbladed elsewhere years ago, they have faded to a pinkish grey, and she wants powder brows. The assistant gives the powder brow price, reads that work by another artist starts with the $50 correction consultation, and offers to take a request for it. She asks whether she can have it done while breastfeeding. The assistant says it is not sure and that the artist will answer that herself. It takes her name, mobile and a preference for a Saturday morning.

The artist reads the text after the lip blush client leaves, rings the caller to talk through the breastfeeding question in her own words, and books the correction consultation for Saturday at 9 am. If the old work is light enough to go over, the path is $50 for the consultation and then $680 for the powder brows, with $100 of that paid as the deposit when she confirms the session.

Questions from cosmetic tattoo studios

Will it tell a caller whether she is suitable for cosmetic tattooing?

No. Suitability, medication, pregnancy, breastfeeding and skin conditions are for the artist. The assistant says the team will confirm, and the question arrives in your text with the caller's number so you can ring back.

How do I list a touch-up that is only cheaper within a few weeks?

List the touch-up as its own service with its price, and write the time limit in notes, for example "touch-up price applies within ten weeks of the first session". The assistant reads both and leaves the judgement on dates to you.

Can callers request the patch test before the main session?

Yes. List the patch test with its price, even $0, and say in notes how far ahead of the session it must be. The caller requests it like any other service, and you confirm both times by text.

Can it take the deposit for a first session?

No. It states your deposit rule from notes and never takes payment details. You send your payment link when you confirm the time.
