Divert your missed calls to the line

The carrier codes the dashboard shows, what they do, and how to turn the divert off again.

Once you have a Glow Line number, the Receptionist page shows a divert code for each major carrier. The code starts with star six one star, then your Glow Line number, then hash. Dial it on the phone whose calls you want diverted and press call. From then on, a call you do not answer within about twenty seconds goes to the Glow Line number and the assistant picks up.

To turn the divert off, dial hash six one hash and press call. Your phone goes back to voicemail or ringing out, whichever it did before. You can turn it on and off as often as you like, for example off on your day off and on when you are working.

The codes on the page are for Telstra, Optus and Vodafone and for resellers that use their networks. If your carrier is different, search for divert when unanswered with its name; the pattern is usually the same.

If you would rather every call go to the line, publish the Glow Line number itself instead of diverting. Most salons prefer the divert, because the assistant then only answers when nobody else could.

Did this answer it? If not, write to us and a person replies within one business day.
