Bookings

Where booking requests come from

The two sources of a request, how each is marked, and what detail each carries.

A booking request reaches your Bookings page in one of two ways.

By phone: on Line and Salon, when a caller asks to book, the assistant takes their name, mobile, service and preferred time and the request is created when the call ends. It is marked by phone. If the caller did not give a mobile, the number they rang from is kept instead. You also receive a text with the same details, and the call itself is listed under Recent calls with a short summary.

Booking page: on every plan, a client fills in the form at your /book/ link. It is marked booking page. A mobile is required on the form, so there is always a number to text. No text is sent to you for a page request.

Both kinds sit in the same list, newest first, and both are confirmed the same way: tap the mobile, send a text. If a request looks wrong, for example a service name you do not recognise from a call, the Recent calls summary underneath usually explains it.
