Glow Line for hair salons
A colour client in the chair, foils half in, and the phone goes. Someone wants a price for balayage, someone wants to move Thursday. Glow Line answers from your menu, takes the request and texts you the details, so you finish the foils and confirm at the basin.
Incoming call, Tuesday 2:14 pm
- Hi, do you have anything for a cut and colour this Saturday?
- Thanks for calling Marigold Hair Studio. I can take a booking request for Saturday. What time suits you best?
- About eleven, with Priya if she is in.
- Eleven on Saturday with Priya. Can I take your name and mobile, and the team will confirm by text?

What gets in the way for hair salons
Calls land mid-service
Colour cannot wait and neither can the client under the dryer. A ringing phone means a stylist stops or the call goes to voicemail, and voicemail is where new clients give up.
Price questions take time
A full head of foils with a toner and a cut is a different price to a half head. Callers want the number now. If your menu lists each service with a price, the assistant gives it in one sentence.
Rebookings and moves
Regulars ring to shift an appointment. The assistant takes who they are, what they have booked and when they would rather come, and you sort it from the Bookings page.
A worked example
Hair salon work, with Glow Line
Willow and Wren is a four-chair salon in a regional town, run by two owners who both colour. Their menu on Glow Line lists twenty services: cuts by length, blow dry, full and half head foils, balayage from a stated price with a note that the final price is confirmed at consultation, toner, treatments and a fringe trim. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday, with Thursday a late night.
A new client rings on a Thursday afternoon while both owners are mid-colour. The call diverts after twenty seconds. The assistant opens as the virtual assistant for the team, gives the price and length for a cut and full head foils, and takes her name, mobile and a preference for Saturday morning. It says the team will confirm by text.
A text reaches the owner's phone with the request. At the basin she checks Saturday, sees a 9:30 with one stylist, taps the mobile on the Bookings page and texts the offer. The client replies yes. Nothing was promised that was not there.

Questions from hair salons
Can it tell callers which stylist is free?
No. It cannot see your diary. It can tell callers which stylists do what if you put that in notes, and it takes a preferred day and time for you to match.
Can it quote a colour price that depends on hair length?
List the variants you price separately, for example half head and full head, or list a from price with a note that colour is confirmed at consultation. The assistant will not guess beyond the list.
What about a product question?
If it is in notes, the assistant answers. Otherwise it says the team will confirm, and you get the message.
